This seems pretty strange. I have a manually operated water control valve within reach so I can adjust the water flow into my headers while driving. When I go from dry to water flow, I can feel the boat accelerate. Any thoughts on the reason?

actually, that handle is for the place diverter. JK That is definitely a first. I know of guys that actually shut off the water flow at WOT to get more speed. The only thing I could think of is that you jetting is a tad lean, and when you inject H20, you create just enough backpreasure to richen up the mix a tad and get a better air/fuel mixture. But that sounds pretty far fetched
