Let's see, I've got a brand new CLE gearcase (polished) that's never been mounted or even had gears in it. Small diameter XR6 gearcase with Bob's nosecone, low water pick up, and torque tab. We're having a fall cleaning party! If you need something let me know and I'll see if I have if, it might be a little quicker that way.

Curious, why are you selling the TT headers? Also, how far from the end of the headers to the exhaust port on the longest header?

P-Money
11-04-2005, 05:58 AM
Selling them because they are too low in my engine compartment (20.5 Cole) and therefore they get too hot (don't run water thru them). I also have too many exhaust sets (Basset OT, zoomies, 2 sets of logs). I bought a set of EMI Thunders instead to make sure I don't burn the boat to the ground.
Distance from end of header to exhaust port (?) Not sure what you want me to measure. I can tell you these are longer than a set of Basset TT. I'll get some measurements at lunch and get back to you.

cruser
11-04-2005, 07:36 AM
Trying to see if they are too long to fit my set up. Maybe a better measurement is how far from the inside of the transom to the passenger side head? Also, how far below the exhaust ports is the output of the headers? You said the exit is too low for your setup. How low is it?

P-Money
11-04-2005, 10:12 AM
"Low" meaning the headers are lower than the back seat and as a result they don't get air to keep them cool. They line up with the holes in the transom just fine.

P-Money
11-04-2005, 12:07 PM
Measurements:
Longer of the Two:
36" overall, 17" from the rear header bolt to the end, 3 3/4" from the water fitting to the end.
Shorter of the Two:
32 1/2" overall, 14 1/2" from the rear header bolt to the end, 1 1/2" from the water fitting to the end.
The longer of the two could have some trimmed off the end if that was a concern.
