Not hi jack but I have some intakes and a mag that would go great with this stuff

Should also work on 390 and 391 (medium truck and Edsel)
If I had the money I'd buy them to go with the (possible) 428 sitting in the '64 Galaxie in the garage (obviously not the factory motor).
Big Kahuna,
What intakes do you have??

Would that be a 500XL Convertible by chance??, had one of those and they are bitchin!..

No, The early production '64 Galaxie 500XL Conv, w/4 speed and Hi-po 390 is in the carport (Delivered to Cottage Grove, Oregon in early November 1963, possibly one of the first off the line for the new model year) :D . My dad special ordered it as soon as he saw the promotional pic's. :D
The one in the garage is a 500 hardtop with full XL trim and interior, but needs complete resto. Super straight, clean body w/no rust, but sat outide under a tarp for about 15 years. I bought it for the chrome, and a few other parts, then found out the motor is a '73 (D3TE casting), possibly 428, need to pull the heads and check the bore/stroke to verify. Top end is '66 stuff, so who knows...
(EDIT: found out the D3TE is a late truck motor, normally 361 or 391 cid, but thick main web and cylinder walls, and can normally be punched to a 428)
Sorry for the thread-jacking....

Squeezin' Spectra,
Any possibility of trades? I'v got a trailer posted on here for sale, and I have a Kawasaki KZ80 that runs but is hard to start. Also have the Witchcraft 16' jet hull w/wj pump that's in the pic's of the trailer. Let me know if your interested.
Big Kahuna,
How much for the intakes, and do you have pic's? Are you a 60's Ford car fan? If so I might have something you'd be interested in....
