For those of you working on fresh engines for spring, I have a new set of 4.500" bore 1.525" compression height BME pistons (540 cu in with 4.250" crank). They have a pretty big dome, so probably more useful for a "race" engine. $500 (half the BME price)
Also, I have the 505 cu in long block that came out of my turbo Schiada. If was running fine, but has sat a couple of years and probably should be freshened up. I do have a "spare" block that could be machined to be able to use the same JE pistons. No Chinese parts, Lunati 4340 crank, Crower rods, JE pistons, Dart aluminum heads. This engine was ultra reliable for me, both racing and cruising the river. Would work for turbo, blower, or even a mild normally aspirated engine. PM or email for more details and price, I would be happy to freshen it up for someone, better in someone's boat than my garage.

Anybody looking to build a 427? I have a balanced assembly with a good nitrited GM crank, Carrillo rods, Arias domed pistons, probably about 11-1 with normal 119cc heads, and Fluidamper if I remember correctly. Rod bearings are still with the rods, everything good enough to put straight into a block. Been saving these for a race engine for my Vega that currently has a fresh 396, but that project has not been a priority. I also have a couple of 427 cranks by themselves, and some new TRW forged 427 pistons as well, $250. Come to think of it, I have some 6.535" (.400" long) Carrillos also, $500

That's a great deal on those Carillos if they're in good condition. :)
