Hello everyone,
I've been a long time lurker and finally signed up!
My question is, I have a 20' 78' Canam gullwing closed bow and i was thing of making it a open bow? Has anyone done this? I know it would be easier to just go out and buy a open bow. but i love the hull. Your thoughts please.

Don't bother. You will be destroying a nice looking boat and will end up with a completely useless open bow. Any seating you put up front in that boat will be downright dangerous to sit in, and you will probably exceed the weight limit of the boat.

I have done a bowrider conversion but I would not do that boat. The draft is too small and you will have structural issues to deal with. It will also lower that type of boats resale value.

I have a Tahiti hull that someone cut the deck out of, and I am trying to figure out how to put it back. Heck, I'll trade ya!
