Pictures need to be up on the web some where. Then get the location URL of the photo you would like to post, and put it in between these brackets and it will pop up in your post.

Your pictures need to be on your computer. Either through a scanner or downloaded with a digital camera if you have one. Enter the hot boat web site by clicking on the girls. Click on the media center icon and then click on the appropriate category ie, readers rides, gearhead garage, etc. Once there, go to the bottom of the page where it says post your picture and click on that. Follow the instructions.

Thanks SuperDave.I have been trying to post these pictures since th last time I talked to you. The boat is a 1974 schiada I got it as a theft recovery completley stripped to the bone.I painted it myself built the motor& rail kit.I bought th 10 degree vdrive used from Jim Wilkes@ Wilkes marine.I am running 38 gears in it.The motor is a 540 with a merlin block,Dart heads,JE pistons, crower roller cam& valve train, scat crank, eagle H beam rods, mooneyham comp 1271,&dual 1050 dominators.I have run it 2 times so far & blew th powerglide up,so I am in the middle of replaceing it with a turbo 400.It ran about 6500 rpm W/ a 11 1/2 by 15 menkens 2 blade prop. Thanks again.

Cjet I am a auto painter by trade.I did all the paint work myself. The best way to paint your block is to strip it to bare iron then clean it with pre kleano or lacquer thinner then une a self etching /Zinc chromate primer use very light coat to cover only. Then go ahead & use your top coat(color).Single stage is best.Mine is House of Color TANGELO ORANGE two stage paint.GoodLuck!

It's a 19 foot v-bottom. Very popular back in the early 70's. Was used alot for water ski racing. Will handle all the horsepower you got. Great handling. The ultimate comprimise between a flat bottom and a daycruiser. One of the all time great boats. Maybe Burt or Oldrigger remembers but I think Howard made a copy or something VERY close to this Schiada.

That is an awesome color combination and design. I like the way you made it a more modern design with the checker, but didn't overwhelm the hull with them. Also liked the fact that you desinged the paint scheme around the lines of the hull and didn't do something totally wild. Great job!

I can testify - she runs REAL strong! I saw the boat at the v-drive clubs haloween bash last year at San Antonio. Blownschiada - I talked to you a little that day, it was fun, until the wind picked up and got a little cold. But hey - v-driv'n in almost November.

I'm pretty sure the molds that Howard has are the old Schiada molds.

SuperDave is right about Howard Custom Boats has the molds for that hull. I believe Schiada used that hull for GN racing in the early 1970's.
