I have a 22' Schiada splash that i would like to have the bottom re gel coated. Boat was painted before i got it by Paint-n-Place. The bottom paint is comming off and fiberglass is starting to show at the keel. Does anyone have a guesstimate on how much it would be just to re gel the bottom white?

For 4-6K you can re gel the hole boat. for just the bottom it
should not even be that much. call pat's fiberglass.

Bob,
I'd be careful of that number, I spent a lot more than that with Pat, just changing the mask on my red 21RC and few stress cracks. Pat does beautiful work and gets compensated accordingly.

Maybe in 1990,if some one will gel a complete 22 for that price, you will get what you pay for!!!

Hey Jim,
Is that who you had do the Spectra 20? I was wondering cuz I want to get the top of the cabin done in the burgundy (I removed the windshield), and I wanted to posibly use the same person.
(sorry foe the thread jack)

Bob,
No, Pat's Fiberglass didn't do the Spectra20, it was regelled in Alaska. I'm sure Pat's could redo it though.

The dude must be hooking you up, I do not know of anyone who will gel an entire boat for that. After my Havasu Barney Nightmare, I have gotten multiple estimates, and all were in the 7.5 to 10 range, much closer to 10. HB charged me $8500 and that was for a floor and to gel the top, the bottom was not done. I did the bottom.....funny, it is the only part of the gel that has not cracked.
