Greetings all,
I'm new to this forum and also the new owner of a 1979 Howard 21' cruiser that needs a facelift. I'm looking for the best shop to do the work. I think new gel coat is in order. Can anyone give me some leeds on who is doing good work? I'm in Michigan but willing to take it to Havasu or LA or anyplace that can do a great job.
Help!

Just picked mine up from havasu barney in Lake Havasu. It is a 74 21' Howard. Project pictures are on his website. http://www.havasubarney.com/disclaim/riverart.shtml

Thanks E-Ticket for the leed. I checked out HavasuBarney and your Howard. Looks good. Are you happy with the work?

I'm very happy with the way it came out! I would surely recomend him. Very good work and he did the work as if it was his own. I would give a call and send some pics.

His # is 928-505-8678.
Don't bother him now as he is busting ass on my boat!
J/K, he is working on my boat now but give him a call and he will hook you up.

GS, there are good shops here in the Detroit area. Steve West Marine Refinishing in Clinton Twp. is one. Are you looking for custom colors?
Jim
p.s. You need to hook up with the Michigan Hot Boat Club for info and some wild meets.

Jim,
Thanks for the tip on Steve West Marine. Not sure yet on custom colors.... Any other shops you would suggest in or near Michigan?
How can I learn about the Michigan Hot Boat Club?
