O30, Go ahead and kick me while I'm down. If I had a hat on I would take it off to Rick. He did a great job. You just don't look good in a Hydro. Poo poo

BTW Torgy, was that a beard in the latest DBR that you were sporting at the banquet? After Rex is back in the fueler, let's get you hooked back up proper in a flat. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

The 404 boat has a long winding road ahead to be competitive, but Jeff seems to be driven. So, we shall see. Can't wait for the next race.

The paint job on your last boat showed you had no dignity.

that's ok because the paint job on your new boat shows you are stuck in the 70's http://free.***boat.net/ubb/tongue.gif

I think it had some brown astroturf on the floor. there was probably an old wooden majerajah flatbottom ski stuck up underneath the deck.

Ouch. Jetboatguru looks like he might need a liter of blood here soon with all the axes flying. I will come to his defense and thank him for the work he had done for my boat parts. No questions, took 'em, had the work done, brought 'em back, no charge. Thanks again. What goes around comes around.

Fired up, anytime you need help with your boat just call me. I will help as much as possible. Don't mind boat 030 he is just jealous because my paint job ROCKS and his paint job looked like something a group of 3 year olds created during a finger painting experiment gone bad. He tried hard to convince everyone that it was boss, but it was not working. Nevertheless, he is a decent guy and I hope he hooks up with the Jones'. Sanger, Jeff is on a spending spree. I hope wifey doesn't get pissed.

No it does not have the big skag. Mine's the race version and is around 7' long and at least 1 1/2 thick. It's only about 3 years old. The skeg is really pretty small. That ski is not real fond of turning but I can do a lap around most lakes on it.

I think my dad's is about 35yrs. old i tried to ski on it one time and it was quite the ride. i don't think there's too many things more beautifull than a nice old wooden ski, except maybe the root beer brown color on jetgu's new boat http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

SD- both my brother and I bought Maherajah racing skis from Bob Maher @ the LA boat show last week. We'd been thinking about it for awhile and then a friend loaned me his Maha GS longboard and I had a blast. A couple of laps around Lake Piru @ 57 mph. I opted for the racing ski because when I want to turn my old Kidder Hammer still works pretty well. And guys I also prefer A&W but have also enjoyed some Old Mug and Hires in my day.
