Was on 244 westbound and saw a deep vee 26+. White bow, yellow bird beak, red stern. Twin big blocks with low profile ram scoops on the engine cover. Pulled by a dark blue GM SUV. It took 11 near the 69 junction to the north. Just curious if this was one of your compadres since I don't normally see this type of boats on the road around here.

I see a few of this type on Grand, but not souped up like this looked. Not your usual Okie boat, if there is such a thing.

(just kidding, Info! :D :D :D ) Randy, that boat brings back memories of my younger days, Dad bought one similar to that one in '57, with a 30 evinrude, all of us kids learned to ski behind it, thanks for the memories. JD

Hey pgf, that lil' boat is part of my "stable" :D , I'm gonna work on it next. I'll bring it down your way sometime, we can go for a ride just for grins. It was built by the Whitehouse Plastics Company in Foat Wuth.
Just came in from the shop, been doing a little tuning on the Howard. I wanted to go to the lake but no one around to help. Maybe tomorrow!

I think a big ol pair of bullhorns on the bow would complete the package!!!

That would make it a Texas boat.

To be an Okie boat, it would need a 300 hp outboard, pedestal seat on the bow and trolling motor.

Randy, Dad still has his, I think it was a splash off of a Whitehouse boat because it looks real similar to that one of yours, it is under a shed on the home place, maybe I can talk him out of it and fix it up, put a 225 JohnRude on it and see what happens, a 225 isn't as heavy as the 30 hp Ev. that was on it.
