Does anyone in Texas remember racing at medina lake, a litlle more than 10 years ago. It was an awesome event with hundreds of blown jets, and outboards. My parents have lived on the lake for years, and i am out there nearly every weekend, and have'nt seen anything like it since. If so do you know if the event, or whatever it was will be held again at Medina lake, if not what would it take to make something like that happen again.

If my memory serves there really were a great number of boats, probably not hundreds maybe more like 100 or so, and it probably was'nt any kind of official event, because all of the spectators were on their own boats. Also all of the activity was happening in the northeast corner of the lake, which is the cove east of pebble beach. One more thing it was probably closer to 15 years ago, hopefully this will jog someones memory. Anyway, thanks for your reply blowngas. I would'nt know where to start organizing a drag racing event, or if it would even be my place to do so, since i don't even own a jet boat, but i am definately a fan,and would be willing to help someone with a little more knowledge on the subject.
