Yeah your right!!! but thats nothing new. At the drag strip by us the motto is if you think you can race it do it I have seen modified lawnmores to some idiot on a stand up powered skateboard that went like 86 mph & they still have the nerve to tech my street stock car as far as taking wheels off to see if studs are long enough

Come on up here and see how we play snowmobiles. My buddie just ran 159 mph in 1000' last weekend on grass. My sled will run high 8's on asphalt, and I'm far from being the fastest.

Yeah, try this on. A 1510cc PSI Genesis Polaris triple w/ an Advanced turbo on it. All tucked into a Pro Line chassis that weighs 329 lbs wet. The motor made 340 hp w/o the turbo. Yup he's crazy. 151" track with 340 chisel tooth studs at 1.25 long. You can't get near the sled with drawing blood from some point on your body. He told me that he's got a 30,000 dollar bill invested in it. I believe him too. Can't get it to hook on asphalt, but it ran hard anyways, 138 in 660' with only a 1.56 60' time. My stock 700 runs 1.40's 60'fts. That show how much he was spinning. It's still pretty consistant, runs 5.50's @ 135-138mph all day. Hasn't run the quarter with it, I don't think I would either!

She'll run consistant 115mph in 660'. 130's in 1000' and broke into the 8's in the quarter with a 146mph. It ain't no slouch.

Nice! I'll have to go pick it up and take a look. Remember, you don't need snow to go play! LOL

What the hell is that on the exhaust tubes? Are those temp gauges?

Dimarco Kid
11-30-2002, 07:00 AM
Yeah, those are his senders for exhaust gas temp.
I keep forgetting Dan, your sled is probably 550 lbs. Mine's only 300 lbs so I lug it everywhere! You don't know how many times I've picked the ass end of my trail sled up and pushed it across the roads instead of driving. Especially the years I have new studs in em'! How far did you make it up the tree?
