So my new boat has twin 496HO's in it and it was not supposed to have Formulas captains call exhaust, and now im guessing it does. First of all im trying to pull out the exhaust tibulators that ive heard alot about so if anyone can help me with a picture of that that its it would be very helpful. Also the exhause tube breaks off into 2 sections 1 that goes to high through the transom and 1 that goes low to the drive, the drive pipe is free flowing and the transom pipes are very restricted. My question is can i weld up the pipe that goes down to the drive nad open the tips through the transom to make it louder and not hurt the exhaust flow?
