The valve covers on my new motor have breathers with the fittings to plumb to a puke tank. Do I run 1 or 2 tanks? Would like some pics of some set ups.

Big G, what the heck are ya doing? Puke tanks are usually for supercharged motors where extreme cylinder pressure can cause oil going everywhere! Under a hard run, you have a catch can or puke tank that may need to be drained ever so often. Also, that is where you mount a breather of some sort. For your application, if unblown, install breathers at the valve covers. Or if you want to keep everything real clean around the covers, run 1 or 2 hoses to a tank so the crud pukes at the tank breather.......Or trade me those covers for some plain ordinary ones...:D
CJ, The covers are polished alum Chevy "Heartbeat" ones with the fittings already in them and I didn't want the oil from the breathers to get all over them. LIke "YUK"---:yuk: The one shown in Rex only shows one fitting. Can't see going 2 tanks.
Our puke tanks have an inlet fitting in each end. Typically one hose from each valve cover to one tank is standard setup.

Gary, two lines, one tank. Rex Marine has them.
Kurtis 500 makes a nice carbon fiber tank.
Thanks guys, Will get one on order so my valve covers can puke correctly...:)
Forget the puke tanks, run an evac system to both headers with 2 hoses from the driver side valve covers and seal off the right side valve cover. That'll keep oil from finding it's way to the right side header on a hard left turn. Unless you are one of those people who make right turns !!!!!
