Clown, yours would have worked except for the space between JPG and [/img}Thats the same intercooler core used in the Banks system. Its accually a oil cooler element for a small aircraft engine.

Superdave, this is the core that came with my buddies richard lee intercooler?it was a used intercooler, have any of you seen this type before, superdave thanks for the info earlier,i do remember you from long beach, your boat is looking good.
-
That is called a shell and tube heat exchanger. We make those where I work but the smallest on is about the size of a 2 car garage. I'm supprised to see that in the Lee coolers. Not saying they are bad. Just it's pretty old school. That must be a pretty old deal or do they still do it that way?
-
Do you think it will work, its not a lee core,it looks like the guy he bought it from made it and sold it on e-bay,it is in a richard lee case? Are they efficient at cooling or do you think we are wasting our time?Have you ever heard of john fagan?
-
Well it would not work near as good as one of the newer designs. If it's 50% efficent you would be very very lucky. I would see if that guy I told you about can make you a new one for that housing.
Plus if that old dog leaks you will be hating it.
Post a pic of the housing that came out of.
