I turned the body around, as noted in post above. Engine started, gas flowed out exhaust. Way to much gas. The only thing I can think may be that the body gasket is wrong or covering a hole. I'll check that at the lake friday. Also got the HP holley performance book, looks for good reading. I'll post when I get back as to the fix.
Well something is wrong for sure, what kind of floats do you have??, this may be dumb but are they binding against something and not closing the needle and seat???, the picture I'm getting is bowls are over flowing???...
Plastic floats. No gas overflow. Just a lot of smoke and gas in #1 side of engine exhaust. As said above, gas driping out of weep holes in header water injection pipes. I'll take it apart and check things out again. It seems to run pretty good with the body turned wrong, why is that ?
It's probably some stupid simple thing, but it's hard to tell without knowing how it was put together to begin with!..
