I love my computer very much but it won't play one of my favorite games, SimCity, cuz it isn't MS-DOS capable . I received a tip in my e-mail that I can play the SimCity Classic game ONLINE!! I played it last night and it's very cool. Now if I could just find Brix online I'd be one happy camper! :D
Here's the link if anyone else wants to check it out
SimCity Classic On-line (http://simcity.ea.com/play/simcity_classic.php)
It's missing some of the features of the MS-DOS version but it's still recognizeably SimCity Classic.

Dos games, did someone say Dos games? I still run lots of them and make sure that each new system I buy is compatible. You might want to try DosBox which is an open source project for running dos games on older systems, SimCity is showing as supported: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1
A little glimpse of my collection. I have SimCity Classic as well as the original sim city from 1989 (need a 5.25" floppy to run that one) :mix:

1989... those were the days... you could run your business on a PC that had about an order of magnitude less RAM and CPU power than my PDA.
Bedford Accounting, Harvard Graphics, Lotus 1-2-3, WordPerfect...
... and store it all on a 40 megabyte hard disk.

And you had to have a connection to ARPANet and rec.boats if you wanted to waste your days posting messages about boating. You probably get over 40megs per hour now of (.)(.) being posted on Havasubarney.com :p

Did you select the Windows Win32 installer version from the downloads page? I know how badly you wanted the Debian woody version but that probably won't work with your hardware :D

Try here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/d...use_mirror=umn
If that doesn't work for you I can upload it to Tom's server for you to download. I think he just added another 40meg mfm drive so there should be plenty of space there
