Jerry boat looks Great. Keep those pics coming. Can't wait to see it in person. Now Jerry, you going to race that thing?

Well. I have to chime in...I give my buddy Billy allot of heat about price and time it takes and on and on..But I got to tell ya that when it comes to custom paint, he is one if the best I have ever seen. I know some of the best. Billy constantly questions himself about price and time, and he hates to hear that he charges too much, and I don't blame him. When you get done with one and you've lived with it for six months you look at the hours you had on it and you always say the same thing..."I can't charge him for all the hours, he'll have a shit fit". So you compromise and charge accordingly. Billy and Jerry..it is beautiful, something to be very proud of..

Well said RCL anybody that has ever tried to "do it yourself" can truly appreciate the amount of work that goes into a paint job like that. I'm not saying that a do it yourselfer could ever do something like that, but it does give you an idea. PS I love the pic of used tape rolls awsome

Thanks everyone I can't wait to get it all rigged and in the water.
Looking Great:D :D

I have a question for you Jerry and all you other B boat guys. About the bottom. Those don't look like lifting strakes or are they and I just can't tell from the picture. Rather they look like fins. Is this to help the boat turn when you bury the pedal and track straight when you bury the other pedal?
I was told by Carson that my Mandy had lifting strakes on it at one time. The previous owner asked Carson to put them on in an effort to reduce wetted surface. Carson said he took one ride in the thing when they were done and he put it back on the trailer, hauled it to the shop and ground them off
Great looking boat though.
-
I love this boat, if a flat bottom:devil: could be in lowrider mag this would be it.

Its my understanding that they're for packing air under the boat. I believe when combined with the dropped chines it aids in rocking the boat back on its tail. The height of cavitation plate "gulls" help determine how much air is trapped (to raise the bow) and how much is released (lowering the bow).
Remember, I'm just the camera guy who doesn't know shit and default all questions to Wildchild80.:)

I've already fit the trailer with 13 inch Daytons (Gold center;) ) and 10 switches.:D
