Monday, October 27, 2003 in minutes between 5:30 am and 6:00 am someone removed the linkage from Greg CarrÂ’s truck and pushed it out of the way from his 94 Mantra Performer Jet boat from the Ramada Inn on Baseline road in Chandler, AZ
If anyone has any information or comes a across a great byy of parts or boat please contact the Chandler Police and Greg Carr.
The boat has a 517 Chevy with Pontiac heads and a Berkley pump
It also has a custom built manifold with Holley 21050 carburetors

That really sucks, I had the same thing happen to me 21 years ago with my 73 Hondo flat with a blown injected 468 in it. The boat and trailer were found all cut up into pieces but the engine and everthing else was never recovered.
I will watch the online classifieds and such for anything that may come up.

I think that is just about as low as you can go. I mean, a car is a car and they're a dime a dozen; but when you steal a boat, you steal the months or work and personal touch. Tons of money that will never be refunded by insurance and a piece of you that you invested into it.
I think that if any of you guys know about ANYONE who steals boats or parts off of them, they should be treated like a rapist. Completely excommunicated from the boating community.
