This pic is of that local guy from Taylor Golf who is an extreme hiker/climber. He was sponsored by his employer to hit a golf shot from Mount Everest with a collapsable Taylor club.
He's my sis-in-laws boyfriend who emailed me this pic along with his timetable for assent/decent of Everest.
Thought this was kinda cool..actually it looks really, really cold. :D

That's really cool (and cold) :D
How many shots did he have to make to hit the ball? I only ask because the snow is messy...not because I'm familiar with taking multiple shots before actual contact of the golf ball :D

Nice shot. I wouldn't want to use the ladies T box.

He needs to work on the reverse-pivot...
...or get a better rain suit...

Nice shot. I wouldn't want to use the ladies T box. LOL--me either!
MJ--The info I got from my sis was it took nearly an hour just to set up for one shot due to the limited oxygen, winds, etc. Thats one long day of golf.

I'm thinking that's about a par 12. You would expect more but with a couple of lucky bounces you could be in downtown Kathmandu on the first shot.
The biggest problem with that course is figuring out what to tip the Sherpas.

Thats the type of t-box I need to get any distance on my drives.
