See above, ... AND it's really not all that easy to hit what you are aiming at with a rifle on full auto, I know, I've used them, legally, and I prefer semi-auto every time. Full auto they just become bullet hoses, doesn't matter much if from the hip or the shoulder. it takes a LOT of training and practice, and often special weaponry to hit accurately on full auto through the recoil.
Belt-fed machine gun mounted or on a bipod, different story, unless mounted atop a moving vehicle, that's damn near impossible too.
