I have recently purchased a 1974 Glastron CV-19 with a 455 Olds motor pushing close to 500 HP, but the Berkeley 12JC-A pump is worn badly and so is the impeller. My question is what upgrades should I start with? I kow I want to change the bowl to a split bowl with a HTP Straight SNOOT, but have heard that a droop snoot will work better. Also will have to get stainless impeller along with a newer jetovator as I hav e the old style and will be selling that after I purchase a newer one. Many questions but need to talk to someone who has made changes already to figure out the best choices. Any CV-19 owners out there, please reply. Thanks.
