At least we got something for it. They don't have much else to sell unless you want to buy sand. I guess I could understand being pissed if we just sent the money and didnt get anything for it; like most of what we send over. :jawdrop: Paul Bremmer is getting grilled again over how the money was distributed, but that is par for the course. The dems are going to grill and committee everything to death and not get anything done. They need to have a "1st 100 hours" every couple weeks. :idea:

The part that gets me mad is that some of this money has disappeared and they have no idea where it went. Atleast they claim they dont know where it went.
If that distresses you, think about this; the Pres has submitted a 4 Trillion (yes a T) budget for 2008. Thats $10,000 for every many, woman and child in taxes

This is just one of thousands of simular situations. We usually don't hear squat about it though. This was a bunch of cash, heavy and easy to see. Most of these transactions are done on paper/wire, and we, the taxpayers, have no idea where or why our money was sent. Billions upon billions of our dollars leave this country yearly. Relief to countries with no accounting of where the money actually went. We pay to rebuild the cities we destroy during acts of war.......WTF, if you don't want us to tear your shit up, don't resist!! We're still rebuilding Iraq from damage done in the early war, wait until we pony up the money to fix this one.......The truly sad part is there are people and things in this country that need fixed, our road system for one, is falling apart, but there is no money to fix it. Our gas taxes are suppose to fund these repairs to our highways, but those funds always wind up going somewhere else............I say not a dime leaves here until here is perfect. Now, since we sent Sadams money back, does that mean gas prices will come down out of the kindness of their hearts and gratitude for our services?..............MP

Absolutely BS!!!! We need to pay ourselves back for liberating the little a-holes!!! Give them 10 cents on the dollar until we do. In the meantime, we need schools, hospitals, infrastructure built!! All politicians are full of crap anymore! Not sure which ones are worse! :mad:
