boatslayer, I asked a question on a 454 mag and had 75 looker but no takers on the question. So I think we are talking to people that are as dumm as we are. But to try to answer your question about headers. I have a v-drive with Lighting headers that have been on it for 7 + years.

I personally think that Stainless Marine's Hi-Torque III header is one of the best in the business, especially for the dollar. About $2600 a set, all stainless, great connections, strong and make great power. Not as pretty as CMI's but more racers are switching over every month for the strength alone.
