Still need'in the lock-out handle! When you talk to Mr Newton, see if he has a tach drive cover for the upper shaft. I'll gladly purchase it from him! I'd be willing to swap him back for this one that has no provision for the drive.

This is a shot of my line-up tool. 1 1/8 oneside, 1inch for the propshaft. .002 clearance in bores. Window allows for checking squareness. Shaft spins easily with two fingers.

Got the tanks yesterday. Now I can finally get after the strut supports, the back half of the rails and transom assy. It's been kinda nice to make a little progress these past few weeks, while I've waiting on SpectraBrent's parts, which are due this week. Then it'll be back to climbing in and out of his 24footer.

Funny thing, I was just in Bergerons Friday and picked up some fittings and etc. Some stuff he got from Julian the day before. Says he is living Payson and is into motorcycles now. No boats anywhere. Hes trading work for parts with Bergeron.
Just a little gee wizz for ya.
Billy B. and Dossangers talked Julian into showing up at Needles earlier this year with his old friend and engine builder Bubby Wilton. They've got Waynes boat well on its way in duplicating the original K-50.

Yeah those guys had a blast out there too!.. The boat, what ya expect from two of the best setting it up!..
Finally got a little time to work on the b-boat today. Here's a few shots of the nearly finished strut and transom supports. Still got to alot of millwork to do on these pieces, but, at least they're bolted in!

Haven't posted any shots for a while, so, here's where we're at.
Plates drilled and mounted. Pillow blocks mounted(still have to window and finish machining). Going to run 1 3/4" eyelevers for the turnbuckles. Extended pillowblocks should really enhance geometery.
