About the best are metal shielded Vitons. Teflon is still used widely, but the metal case stuff has made a comeback due to the viton material and issue with clearance on the large spring multi-assemblies used today.

What kind of seals does everyone run with dual springs?

I've got a box of new PC seals (white teflon type) if any of you engine guys are interested I'll sell them cheap. There's probably 100 or so, 3/8 valve. I'd have to count em.
Do I have to do any machining or do they just go right on?
You'll have to measure your guides, look up the valve stem size you need and it will tell what size the guide has to be!...
