Whats the story behind this one? Tried to turn but forgot the throttle? Looks like hes going to need a new nozzle too.
This guy was out at the lake where I go. I talked to him right after this hapened, as you could imagine he was pretty pissed, but mostly in shock it hapened though. He may need that blueprinting advice :eek!:

He said the steering or throttle was stuck. I was told later that he was drinking pretty heavily. If this guys boat is rigged like mine he is still stuck in forward looking at the fore/ aft control lever. The rangers said what really got them, is that there was a water safety manual in the passengers seat, when they went to look at it later.
What kind of boat and year is this anyways?
we i guess its a good thing no was killed, no OUI(dui)
if he was drinking....what state ?
lots of rocks , looks like AZ
good luck
What ever the damage is...it's still not as bad as if there was a prop from a v-drive/outdrive on it
looks like he Hit the Dam (DAMN)
one very important thing with Jet Boats is to NOT let off the throttle when it looks like your gonna hit something. it take's practice, in a car if you were gonna hit something the first thing you would do is SLOW down (or try too anyway) looks like no one was hurt the Neat thing about Jet Boats is you can slide them up on the shore & do alot less damage than with other style of Boats
No one was hurt, just a checkbook....The lake is out in Ennis Texas 1 hr south of Dallas, yep got it right it is on the dam. The picture was taken by a Ranger out there.

I'm thinkin' Sidewinder.
but really not sure...
does look like set back or e-pump. has ride plate.
Most sidewinders were right hand drive.
Maybe TAHITI
That is a Taylor SS, they are all over the place in Texas.
