I have a 455 olds in my tahiti and was curious to know what RPM any of you 455 owners run?? I had it up to about 4500 last weekend and it felt pretty good.

4700 with mine. Trying for 5000.

I make 5000, but with a "B" cut impeller and loader. Shouldnt the rpms be higher with the smaller impeller? Just had the motor built and I expected more rpms.
5000 on a B is around 340 horse. I know, we always expect more.
I'm only getting 4600...
