In charge of a multi million dollar project that was in the process of finishing up, so they were gonna send me closer to home.
Best laid plans.
Client called up my boss's boss and told him "many many more cell sites coming your way, you can't let (me) leave the project"....
Looks like I'll be a So Cal'er for the rest of the year at least...
But I'm going home for the weekend!

I know you wanted to go home, but does this mean a raise for you? I can't lie and say I'm sorry your going to be around here more, but I know you wanted to go home to your family....

Well, the project that they were sending me to was a huge loser... millions in the hole. No matter what happens when you come in at the latter stages of a project and work it... and it is a loser it is always "your" effed up project. So from that perspective, I am glad I am still here in so cal. Now if I could just get out there and use my damn boat a time or two this year...

It appears to be bad news. Anytime you can't leave its a bad thing.
Hey Doc, at least now you'll get to enjoy some of that Nor Cal water that we so throughly enjoy down here in So. Cal. It works great for hoseing down my driveway.
