Ok guys, Chet sent me some pics of his boat, and he is currently working on removing the hook, and straighten out the bottom. Even though we pick on him, lets all wish him Good Luck!

    Is that for real HB?
If so, chet - buddy - spend the $5,500 all at once and pick up a nice, complete, straight, well powered boat. You have a project not worth taking on there. Dump the thing and start shopping. Search ebay for "jet boat" and see what $3,000 will get you before 14:30PST Tuesday.
Good Luck! If you need help with that project, I have a can of gas and a match!

What did you do to my picture HB drop it in puddle or something?? I should have known you'd mess with it somehow.

Say it it really isn't like that!
I've done some fiberglass that was pretty bad, I repaired a 75 Howard with glass damage (estimate was $12,000 at Howard) but this seems pretty hard.
Just what I think, but don't really know!
I've picked up hulls on trailers with interiors and motors with drives for $2000 from the boat trader. I would suggest something like that.

    Hey Chet
Ok we know HB played with you pic and since we cant really tell where the hook is in a pic, I am going to guess that the hook area is where the brown colored paint is. Do you really think your going to gain 10+ mph by removing the hook there?? Most of you running surface should be a lot closer to the jet opening than that. If you can find a pic of LS7's boat running ( there are a few of them out there) you will see that most of his boat is out of the water. One thing I would make sure you do is make the transition from the bottom to the transom is as sharp as possible. I did that to a 19.5 Baja TC I had and it loosed the hull up a lot. Even with your attacks (ones you claim you never make) on my bowl testing and my negative option on aggressors quality. I would rather see ANY jetter succeeding in there projects to improve there ride. I hope it all turns out for you.

PS I see it is sitting at Teddys place!?

Well... is it a coincidence that there's a Bobcat and a flat bed truck right there in the pic? I don't think so!
I say use the bobcat to smash that hull up and load the pieces onto the flatbed. Then drive the flatbed to the dump, say a few words outa respect for the many years of service, then unload it and never look back.

I thought that we hit some serious shit with our boats (we can bang ours out in an afternoon and a case of beer). Tell me that photo has been altered. If not, you have got some real work and lots of time on your hands.
