Yep, If you run off of the snout you will need a jet pan. Brand new they run about $500. Jeff Wooton has a line on those and so does Larry Dalhoff over at Motor Magic. That is were I got mine.

You need the right pan for turning. Morg and the other circle guys can help you. But it wont be a jet boat pan.
Actually, most circle boats use a jet pan because they're driven off the balancer.

I have a brand new, never been used Dan Olson pan for a circle boat. I built my motor for my Riviera and was driving it off the balancer. I know the boys at Olson and they built me a cool circle pan. Then I went and bought the Wickens woodecker and the motor is going in that instead of the Riviera. Hence one brand new circle pan with pickup. I can post the pics of it if you want. I will sell for 350.00. Has never had oil in it...RCL

Doss was the first one to PM about the pan. It is currently on my motor as I await the other pan to get back from HPC coatings in Salt Lake. As soon as I get the pan off then I can take pictures. The pick up was built for the pan and is included.
I took some pics but not off the motor.

The oil in the pan is directed and held in the center of the pan with gates. There was no part number with the pan. I called down there and talked to Dan's son and told him what I needed and he built it...
