Pioneer makes a good replacement one. They are alot cheeper than the crazy rattlers or sfi ones.

I noticed that the rubber ring on my balancer is starting to squeeze out i've heard alot of horrer story about these coming apart. My question is can i just go buy a good after market balancer and install it with out doing any thing else it is on a 454 any help would be apreciated thanks

do you now if you have an internally balanced motor..or externally balanced motor..I have a internall balanced fliudampr I will sell you..
I believe it is externally balanced it a 030 over 454 thanks
bolting on a replacement will not change anything because it is externally balanced am i right about this.
it should be fine, a stock replacement one is good for 5000 RPM
found a pioner street balancer out of northern auto parts for 119.00 says it good for 6500rpms thanks for the help
