Thinking about taking my boat out to the ocean...

any tips you guys can give me? Were is a good place to launch, i will be in the san pedro, long beach area.

Davies or there is a ramp right behind the Queen Mary. Take the road into the QM & look to your left on your way in , hang a u-turn & back to the ramp. It's a little steep but my 2 wheel drive supercrew pulled my boat out.

What kind of boat is it??
I suggest you buy some "Salt Away" at any West Marine store, and the spray applicator. It's a great bio-degradable wash, and is good to run through your engine after running in the salt water.
The sprayer/applicator hooks up to your engine flush divice...I always use the stuff after putting my boat and trailer in the salt water (especially the trailer!).
