What sould you pay for a good used #-5 w/ the transum assembly?

Somewhere around $16K. Randy at Cobra power may still have a pair of low hour #5's. It's not going to fit the transom in the picture.

what are you running for power. just spend some money on that drive and leave it like that. have you ran that on gps or just reading the speedometer, if your name is bo than a buddy of mine said he rode in you boat at texoma and 90plus w/o nos.also a #5 would prob cost you a few mph.

Yes this is Boe, The boat will run 104 on the nos. On GPS ,is your frind the one with 42' Baja? The power is a 496ci w/ a carb and a 100hp shot of nos. I have broken two Brovo drives sofar and I have a 950+hp blowen motor to go in it :2purples: I have been thinking bout a XR drive but it won't live long ?

You're going to need about 5" more transome height to mount the gimbal assembly. #5 will cost you some hp. The drive is completely full of oil. The tranny sucks up some hp as well. Used props are around $1000 new $2500.
