When is the last time Cali went to a Republican? I'm young, but I would say it's a safe call to give it to Kerry. I nearly voted Green just to show my disgust.
I'm following the election on Foxnews.com and cnn.com
CNN has given California to Kerry 11 min after voting closed. Only ONE county has reported so far (santa cruz) and it's a hippy village :yuk:

might as well vote socialist in CA, it's basically like that anyway
i agree, Kerry is going to probably win CA :frown: , but cmon... less than 1% of votes in, and they've called it :yuk: ??
Florida has 95% of votes in, Bush up 54% to 45% for Kerry and still have it listed undecided

Once bitten, twice shy........................................
But, I agree.
New example... Florida
Currently 96% in.
Bush- 3,562,734
Kerry- 3,239,441
Nader- 30,057
Others-26,879
If you add All of the votes currently in you get 6,859,111 counted votes.
if x is the total number of votes, and 6,859,111 is 96% of them
6,859,111 / .96 will give total votes which is 7,144,908 (really a fraction, but i rounded up)
If you take the total votes (7,144,908) and subtract the counted votes(6,859,111), you get the uncounted votes (285,797)
If Kerry gets every single one of those votes (not likely) he will end up with 3,239,441 + 285,797 = 3,525,238 votes, still less than GWB currently has. why not call Florida??
GRRRRRRRRR :burningm:

Because then you would stop watching, they've got lots of news crews and reporters in Florida it is big drama, they don't want to call it quits there yet. They called other states for bush with very little of the vote in as well, and they are basing the calls more so on the exit polling. Georgia was one of the first states to report, and for Bush I might add, so we pulled our weight. Looking at the split between the northeast and the southeast I'm starting to think that these guys down here had the right idea with the civil war
CNN is getting a little sad to watch right now. To see Carville and the dems try to keep a stiff upper lip and start making excuses...
Not celebrating yet however

I was watching the same thing.
Cali: 0% Kerry is the victor
Fla: 96%: Undecided
Liberal cocksuckers
