Anybody know of an Evinrude Mechanic in the SoCal area that's not too busy. Looks like we snapped a drive shaft on our v8 & our next trip is already scheduled in (2) weeks. ~ Thanks

It's the upper drive shaft, but it broke just above the lower shaft under the water pump. The splines of the upper shaft are still stuck in the bottom.
John's custom marine (home of Stoker Boats) in Stanton, CA is the only place to take a V8 Rude in So Cal.
I 2nd the vote for John's Custom Marine - the Stoker boys know OMC's....always treated me fairly.
