Well both the pickup (butt ugly) and the galaxie showed up on a car carrier today. Can't wait to start. I almost cried when I saw the condition of the galaxie. Its been sitting in the cousins shop since he tore it apart a year ago. It just needs a little head work and some new head gaskets. The pickup gets a 302 in place of the 6 cyl and also a 4spd trans.

Mike, Nuthun a little soap and water won't cure but if the heads have been off for a year what kind of shape are the cylinders are in? Too bad its been sitting so long, those things deserve to be driven. BTW, how long has that Econoline been sitting? If the plate is any indication it hasn't been used in years.

One head is on and the other is off. On #4 cyl there is a spot the size of a dime at the top that has a little rust. I had him coat the cyl with good old STP before so they would stay somewhat preserved. As for the Econoline it has been driven daily until last monday when they pulled the engine. Also that is the original paint on it. Gonna go pick up my blower block today also for the boat.

You have no idea what a mess it is in there. I have had harvesters, tractors and all in there over the summer long.
