Thread: Where's the Chevy Guy

I've been thinking of getting a new Z71 Tahoe for my wife. I think this time I will lease it. The GM website's MSRP is about 44k. Can you give me a idea of what I can expect for a lease on a 05 Z71 Tahoe with the navigation? What kind of payments? I've never leased before so I don't know how to work out the payments. I figure we can put about 5k down.

Why would you put money down on a lease?

I believe you have to put a little down. And it will lower the payment. I think. Not too sure that's why i'm asking. What ever money I save by not putting down I can go buy a dirt bike.

    Call Jay Photoglou @ 714-552-0300.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal, (not to mention sales guy) anywhere else.

I have been trying to get hold of him for over a week. That has been through the boards by PM and email. Thanks for the number, I will call him also, or if anyone has contact with him, ask him to check his PM's.
    Thanks

I've always been advised to never put money down on a lease. You are renting the car for X number of months. Why put a wad of money down when you can roll it into the payments and use GM's or whoever's money. I've also found that most dealers can beat the lease deals you see in magazines and on the TV (except on a real hot item like the Mustang or G35 Coupe, etc...).

...you can do either one, but you may find with Jay that the purchase is even easier than the lease

I have lease the last several vehicles I've owned except the 02 Burb. Just seemed that 0% for 60 mos was better than the lease. Of course since GM is practically giving their trucks away and doing 0% or 60 months my 02 Z71 Burb is worth about $10,000 I'm still not sure if I came out better or not.
