Okay, I'd like everyone to reply to this, and we are going to try and do it democraticly. (asmushasIhavegrowntohatethatword)
    We basicly have two options:
    1. Have a pretty much unorganized event, where we just meet at the lake in a designated area. (much as it was the first year)
    2. Have it organized like last year with Boat show, food, awards banquet & activities planned, and pre-paid admission charges.
    3. Have everything as in option 2, but with more pre-planned activities.
    Please respond with your opinions!
    Thanks
    Ken F

Ken, I thought you did a great job last year. I vote for option 2. Next year I hope you aren't having any boat problems.

i thought everthing went pretty smooth for the first organized roost. Maybe a meeting on sat morning to explain the weekends events and times and some volunteers to help with passing along info and organizing. i would be glad to help as far as that goes. But as i said i thought it went really well and i had a blast. Next year i am bringin both boats so i can go on the long rides.Dan

    Sounds like a good idea.

I thought the meet this year went well.
A couple suggestions are maybe to have people register ahead and send a deposit so then you can accurately plan on the amount of people who will be paying for the meal and any other events.
Maybe have a rough destination on the river posted for each day so everyone knows where the group will be located somewhat.
Saturday we could meet at one of the bars on the lake that would be maybe a 15 mile trip for lunch. Maybe thats where the boat show could be and the bar could be a sponsor.
We all got a lot of good pictures but more videos would be even better. A local fisherman got a real good video of my boat going WFO with Ken aboard. I gave him my email address and phone number but I never got a copy.
Lodging was limited right on the lake but there are some places to stay in the surrounding area. I would like to stay a few nights in that hotel on top of the mountain in Eureka Springs but I would be concerned about my boat security if I wasn't able to see it.

    Ken,
As I mentioned on the phone, I can handle the t-shirt stuff from my end. If a date is set, I'll get going on the design and start taking some orders in a couple of months.
