indoor / outdoor runners there in 6 ft wide buy however long
home depot or lowes
I'm making new bunks for my trailor. The 2 inside bunks are 14' long. Buying the wood is easy. But it looks like the carpet only comes in 12ft lengths. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Gary

Lowes carries marine grade 6' wide cut to length.
Just done mine about a month ago.
Try Champion Trailers (http://www.championtrailers.com/) I think they sell bunk carpet by the foot in precut widths.

Yep, he's right. Here's a link to the page of their catalog where they sell it.

Thanks guys. I checked out Champion trailers. Now I have to stop in to Lowes and see what the cost difference is. I'll have to buy a 15x6 foot piece and I'll have a lot left over. Maybe I've got to find somebody to buy half.

After doing my bunks with the pre-cut carpet, I wouldn't do it any other way. It was too easy. However, Lowes may make it worth your while to cut your own.

Hey we need some too...you have grey?
I have seen a new product out that is a plastic that gets fastened to the bunk. It only goes on the top of the bunk. It keeps the wood dry so it won't ROT....
