It is very interesting when you get to the statistics in the middle and how the numbers have exploded in the last decade.
Is there any wonder why our social programs are drowning under a sea of people.
Does the benefits they provide like doing a job that some people say no one else would do, offset the cost of their burden on our tax based infrastructure?

You can now call all 3 major credit agencies and password protect your credit. Anyone who wants to run your credit will have to have the password. It will cost you a few bucks to set-up unless you have been a victim of identity theft, then it is free.
Doesn't stop someone from stealing your credit cards other ways, but stops them from setting up accounts without your knowledge.
The piont I was refering to was the Social Security number being used by 30 people. Read about that and where all of that whats happning to all of that money? Why cant our government agencies work together? Not to mention the shear volume in the numbers.
Sorry, my post was a little off target from your post...but I just found that info out the other day and have been telling everyone.
That person will have fun at tax time when her income is 37 times higher, according to the IRS.
The extra money that goes to Social Security just gets absorbed. Originally, Social Security was designed for the few people that were still alive. They never expected to pay very many people. But, like most government programs, they start wrong, and get worse. They should have Social Security retirement age up into the 80's (if you use the same reasoning that started it) today.
