RBR 2005 What happens in Platka stays in Palatka ...
This years Radical Boat Reunion will be on June 3, 4, 5, 2005 in Palatka Florida at the Riverfront Inn {formerly the Holiday Inn} Special room rates available only to registered event guests Call Riverfront Inn 386-328-3481 or the Best Western 386-325-7800. Friday June 3 will be the meet and greet, where free refreshments will be provided to accompany the worlds fastest dock racing. Saturday day many may opt to tour the river and show off. Saturday evening there will be a great buffet meal at the Hotel to be followed with an auction of lots of special prizes to benefit Rodeheaver Boys Ranch. Then a pajama party will follow at the nightclub with a live band and lots of fun to be had by all. Sunday Morning there will be Tech Breakfast where you can share your questions with some of the most knowledgeable experts in the marine industry. After the breakfast Sunday many may want to travel down river to Silver Glenn to relax in the clearest most beautiful spring in Florida.
As it has been in the past the RBR is a PAY event. We hope to keep the event price down to about $33 registration per guest this depends a lot on sponsors. For your event price we will provide the event T-shirt, Friday night refreshments, door prizes, a buffet meal, the live band, the pajama party and Sunday Tech session. This I will try to provide to you for about $33. For those who may not be comfortable with this price, there are free events that I and other persons put on that may be more to your liking please enjoy those. Due to security concerns the RBR 05 is to be limited to register guests only.
We are looking for venders and sponsors for the RBR 05. If you are interested please contact Rus Matos 5327 Goddard ave Orlando Fl. 32810 or call 407-299-2427 E-mail raceboatrus@aol.com also if you have any input or ideas please feel free to contact me.

I'll be flying out the Wednesday before. My dad is just finishing his classic race boat - 16' Allison w/Merc T2x inline 6 on it. Should run just over 100, but corner like no tomorrow. He used to run FJ and J-production back in the 70's.
I'm sure he'll also bring the "Wool Wagon" - his 25' Power Play open fish as well.
