Buying a 1992 18'5 Rinker runabout, with limited space for batteries. Installing a set of 6.5's with a set of 6x9's powered by a Pioneer cd/mp3. No subs or amps. Whats the best battery set-up. Usually sit with the stereo on/ boat off for at least 3 hours. Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks!

You are not drawing much amps with just a head unit, so just two good Optima batteries, or better yet Odyssey 1200's with a Perko. You should have two batteries regardless of system size...don't want to be stranded.

Thats right, I am sure a few of us have had our share or dead batteries and being stranded. Two batteries should do you good. Good luck.
