I have done the next step quite a few time back east. Heavy ass 4.6 for a super strong slightly heavier 8.0L (472ci BBF)
all cast iron the 460 is only 100lbs heavier than the 4.6L but in turn the 460 is 4" narrower. Fit real nice in the new Stangs !!!

Why? People are getting big numbers from that 4.6

Well I want to turbo charge the mota in the car and the learning curve on melting a piston or torching a head gasket is alot cheaper on a winsor then a 4.6. I can get roller motor 351's for a couple hundred bucks where as they want 1300 for a core 4.6 dohc.
Plus there are a ton of roundy round guys around here selling heads and stuff from their motas.

I would stick with the 4.6 4 cam you can make more power for less money.

If your wanting to do the turbo deal, check out www.turbomustangs.com they have accumlated tons of good info there. I also vote for the 4.6, its a ton stronger than any factory windsor engine
