I heard somewhere that Aftershock is laying them up and then WPM is doing the rigging.

The 23 and 28 is being laid up and owned by West Coast Tooling and they've done alot of lay ups for a bunch of MFG. WPM, Cole, CA Performance, Water Rod and more. They used to be tied to Shockwave, so most of the Shockwaves made before 2002 were done by West Coast Tooling. They are also laying up a 19' Cat for Tom Papp right now. I'm pretty sure WPM isn't rigging boats anymore and the 23 and 28 are being rigged at Aftershck.

I think you are incorrect, BF.
I know that WPM used to rig the boats laid up by West Coast, but I don't think they are doing it anymore (unless you have a briefcase full of money).

I belong to the Michigan hot boat association and had the chance to try one of these last year. I first ran against the Warrior in a 25 Eliminator daytona with a Tyler Crocket 570 cubic inch blown big block putting out somewhere in the range of 1100 hp, custom drive and so on. The warrior had a blown big block but dont know who built it. There was 2 to 3 foot chop and we were running between 105 and 118 that day. The warrior held its ground really well and I was impressed for a 23 ft boat to run that solid against a 25 daytona, the daytona was faster no doubt but without getting stupid in that chop the warrior did well. I checked it out after the run and that boat wasnt to bad but honestly to small inside and there were other boats that had more room in the same size, and the guy who owned the warrior was selling it for that reason. Sexy boat- yes, fast hull- yes but no room-YES.

What Am I incorrect about???????? I said WPM wasn't rigging boats anymore. I know WPM still owns the 37' mold but they gave or sold the 23' and 28' to West Coast. When WPM was building boats they were doing the rigging after West Coast tooled them...
So you just said what I said

Thanks for all the input on the boat. The boat was looking at is on Offshoreonly.com It is listed in the Eliminator boats section and it is the last add. I am having a hard time convincing the wife of the shape of the top. I will try to put up pics of it.

No...I said that West Coast used to layup the boats and WPM rigged them. However, I don't think they do that anymore.
