If you are going to run on the lakes I would buy a big fuel tank, and a drum of alcohol. It goes really fast. But at a 5-6:1 or so air fuel ratio, it needs less jetting than gasoline at 14:1

Question, is there a big difference between fuel consumption in carbs on alcohol as compared to an injector on alcohol? I know the injectors flow more air and need more fuel, but I wonder if carburated alcohol is closer to the fuel consumption of carburated gas than injected alcohol.

Alcohol versus Gasoline consumption is roughly 3 : 1 (no matter what type of induction system you use)
