Might try rebooting the modem
Yeah. Every once in a while Verizon will act a little weird but if she's having constant problems then she needs to look at her equipment.
They just replaced her modem again its better but not much.

My dad has a DSL resold by AOL that is really a Verizon product. He has the same problem, and it has gotten so bad lately I recommended he chuck it in favor of the cable service. It costs just as much, and the cable modem performs better.
Up here, my SBC works well.

I have had it for around 4 years, I leave my computer on 24/7 even when I am not home. It never crashes and the speed is awesome. There was some problems at first, but they were in the middle of upgrades, after that it has been smooth sailing.
