Well there's a tag on the block that has a number on it which means it was originally a mexican fleet rebuild motor at one time but from what I gather it has been rebuilt again so I'll find out soon enough!..

I was commenting on how sunk valves effect inatalled height. No shims,...installed hts going to be all over the place!

So...was this just a head job or did they build the whole motor? And was this the motor someone had that was not oiling the top end and they were wondering why?
Yep, he just had the heads done, he bought the motor complete from someone!..

Gotcha, haven't looked at that yet, when I pull the heads I'll find out, bet there's no shims either!
