Seth, based on the pictures and write-up I'd say you're in the right range. In fact, you MAY be able to pad a little because as the season starts decent boats become scarce. Just a thought.

Hey, who said it was a decent boat?j/k
Well good, Im glad to hear it fellas. Im looking to get a Daytona, Liberator (kinda the same) or a Placecraft Jetstar tunnel like LVJetBoy's. I love that boat! If my wife had it her way we would be buying a Maxim open-bow thats nice, quiet, and safe for her and the kids............I dont think so honey! Maybe down the line I will get a pontoon for them. But as I always say, if you dont like it, you dont have to come, there are plenty of little 18 year old mama's to take her seat! hehe

1000mhz, drop by the J&M Marine (http://www.jmmarine.com) or the Tom Papp Racing (http://www.tompappracing.com) sites and look at the 21' Phantom. It's virtually the same as the Daytona and the price is so much better. I looked at the 21' Daytona at the LA Boat Show. They wanted $37,900 with no frills. I know the price of the Phantom is way better. In fact Jet Boat Brian has a Phantom. It's a good looking ride. The Liberators are nice too. I'm just not real hip on their interior packages. It's not very custom compared to the West Coast market.

thanks for the links kwicher! I was wondering if anybody knows the history of any of these boats? The reason for the question is I would like to know when these boats were put into production so I can get my hands on an earlier year and save my cheap ass some $,$$$ (notice only 4 digits)hehe!
