I am looking for injection for the new motor we are building, it is a 540 that we will be running on gas. I would like to buy a complete kit but would consider buying it piece by peice.

Fiat's right about new vs. used prices. I've been shopping for a Birdcatcher alky setup for about a month. Some guys are asking for more than new!! Obviously trying to recoup from a bad deal. Good Vibrations and RBS Superchargers seem to have the best prices on new stuff. I've had pretty good luck on ebay, as well. I'll probably end up buying new if the deal I'm working on right now falls through.

When you buy a used hat..usually has the wrong nozzles in it for what you need. And lotta times a "different" barrell valve spool. Save the pain and buy the hat new.
Used pump for a RELIABLE guy is o.k to save some bucks. If you send an unknown pump for Enderle to check it..he'll probably tell you it needs rebuilding and you'll be right back at new price.
All you really have is pump, fuel shutoff, hat, pills and some plumbing.
Used has always been a tough market on injection.
Well I guess it's different than a stack deal when it comes to used, my set was an alky deal and I had to change it over to gas and get the manifold refinished and get the shafts bushed, a new spool and stacks(I did have nozzles though) and I still came out less than half the cost of a new set!.. I did send the pump to Enderle to get checked and they flowed it and send it back saying it was like new, maybe I got lucky??????
Guys with hats for sale seem to want so close to new price...never found a bargain on one yet. Trust me...I shop everything. I only buy pumps used and then only from guys I know. You can save there. Dale I has a used one for $250. Fair price.
